LabEvolve is an industry-leading suite of order entry and results reporting modules focused around laboratory and hospital outreach businesses. LabEvolve enables independent laboratories and hospital outreach programs the ability to leverage the power of the Internet to service their customers. LabEvolve gives customers and patient service centers the capability to order tests, to verify medical necessity and to view results from any PC with an Internet connection. LabEvolve's feature-rich functionality combines a user-friendly front end with a powerful back end data center. Regardless of the type of customer, CareEvolve will protect and ensure the security of all Protected Health Information (PHI). LabEvolve is available in an ASP or client-hosted model.

Laboratory and Pathology Order Entry
LabEvolve uses a simple, three-step ordering process wizard. After choosing a patient, the user will select tests, diagnosis, and complete the order. LabEvolve's wizard driven screens utilize next buttons to guide the user through the order. This process enables users to be trained on the order entry process in fifteen minutes or less. The order entry module will alert the user to any ordering errors including incomplete required fields, ask at order entry questions, LCD or NCD violations or other related issues. The system will print a completed Advanced Beneficiary Notices (ABNs) if appropriate. The order entry module also allows for splitting and routing of requisitions based on the laboratory's business rules or insurance contracts. The system will provide online test dictionaries, handling instructions and allow for the placement of standing orders.

Laboratory Results
The Laboratory Results module allows users to view lab results from one or many performing laboratories. The "practice centric" model allows physicians with multiple practice locations to aggregate all of their laboratory data in one place. LabEvolve allows users to sort, trend and graph clinical information. Our Global Results Search allows a user to query all of their patients data, searching for specific results utilizing many different criteria. In addition, LabEvolve can deliver results to EMR's in HL7 discrete date fields, images based reports and can transmit many other types of information.

Pathology Results
LabEvolve can display anatomic, surgical or general pathology reports in many ways. We have extensive experience in image and text based reporting. Images can be sent to CareEvolve or links may be provided for slide lookup in your database.

Patient Service Center
A patient's specimen for analysis may be drawn or collected at a physician's practice or in a patient service center. LabEvolve allows the provider to place and then save an order in the system. When the patient presents themselves at the patient service center, the PSC can look up the saved order and complete it, in addition to answering the necessary Ask at Order Entry questions.

Prison System Module
Because of the specialized nature of prison system testing, CareEvolve has developed a prison system module. This module allows for prison specific testing, routing, formulary and business rules.

Radiology Results
LabEvolve is able to report text or image based radiology reports. CareEvolve will interface to your Radiology Information System, Hospital Information System or Interface Engine to allow transmission of these results.

Radiology Order Entry/Messaging
CareEvolve can submit electronic or paper radiology orders. The Radiology module is complete with LCD and NCD verification. LabEvolve can submit messages to a Radiology Information System to request scheduling of procedures.

Nursing Home Module
CareEvolve's new nursing home specific module allows labs with significant nursing home business a robust standing orders and phlebotomy module. This module allows scheduling of standing orders, phlebotomy reports and easy standing order updates.

Healthvision Portal
CareEvolve has partnered with Healthvision to provide laboratory and pathology order entry and results reporting functionality to Healthvision Portal customers. Designed specifically for Independent Physician Association (IPA) and Regional Health Information Organization (RHIO) customers, Healthvision's portal allows connectivity to all hospital systems and provides access by utilizing browser technology. This functionality increases the flexibility of affiliated providers in RHIOs. CareEvolve offers a lab specific application focused on providing laboratories within RHIO's a tool which is lab specific and designed to grow the outreach businesses.
